Andrew Maldonado
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Andrew Maldonado is an eclectic guitar player, singer-songwriter and Musicians Institute Graduate. He has been performing, recording & composing since the ripe age of 14. A large part of his early musical career was spent as the lead guitarist and songwriter for the band, “Mad Temple." From 2009-2015, Andrew toured and played festivals and theaters throughout the southwest US and Northern Mexico with his group. Some notable performances are South Texas RockFest, Texas RockFest, SXSW, Tijuana Taco Fest, Ensenada RockFest, Sunset Strip Music Festival and Make Music Pasadena Festival to name a few. The band was also featured on Music Connection Magazines 2013 -2014 “Top 100 Live unsigned Artists & Bands” and had a residency at the once Hollywood House of Blues. While only releasing two music videos and singles, “Animal” (2014) and “What you looking for” (2015) the group was able to find some radio success nationwide. The group parted ways in 2015. Post 2015 Andrew found himself in a new teaching position at a music studio in Cypress, Ca. It was there that he found a new passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians. During those years he also grew as a session musician and continued to play festivals and venues in and around California while also releasing original material under the moniker “Andrew Benjamin." Andrew continues to release new music, play locally, and tour as a guitarist for other artists! Some notable write-ups include featured articles in “VoyageLA 2020” and “ShoutoutLA 2021." Andrew loves teaching, and is passionate about sharing the gift of music with his students.
Andrew teaches all levels of guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, beginning piano, and songwriting.
Sabrina Fuster-Maldonado
Born and raised in Torrance, CA, Sabrina Fuster-Maldonado is a genre defying singer, songwriter, pop pianist, and voice-over actress. As a singer Sabrina has trained with some of LA's most prestigious vocal coaches including Seth Riggs, Dave Stroud, Gerald White, and is trained in a wide variety of genres including Pop, Classical, Jazz, & Musical Theatre. Years of training and honing in on her diverse skills have led her to some amazing experiences including acting in feature film “Elena Undone” and writing an original song for the film’s soundtrack (2010), writing songs for other artists (on-going), performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live with Youngblood Hawke & Thirty Seconds to Mars, recording vocals for the Thirty Seconds to Mars album, “LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS,” co-writing with seasoned industry songwriters Billy Steinberg and Ken Hirsch, appearing in a Gap holiday commercial singing background vocals for Janelle Monáe, and singing on The Late Late Show with James Corden. In addition to on-camera acting, singing, performing, and songwriting, Sabrina's voice can be heard on many commercial voice over campaigns, for brands such as: Universal Studios, Kaiser Permanente, Pizza Hut, SoCal Gas, The Container Store, Johnnie Walker & T-Mobile. Sabrina is also a performing artist, with released songs under her own moniker, “Sabrina Carmen.” Much of her original catalogue of music is signed with top sync licensing companies like Glow Music Group and North Star Media. Many of Sabrina's original songs (which also feature her voice) have appeared in shows for networks and streaming services such as Netflix, NBC, Peacock, MTV, NFL, Roku, USA Network, Amazon + Freevee. With all of her firsthand experience, Sabrina is thrilled to be sharing what she loves most with her students. She holds her own teachers and mentors in the highest regard, and is passionate about helping others cultivate their creative voice.
Sabrina teaches all levels of singing, beginner to intermediate piano and pop piano, all levels of songwriting, and voice-over acting.
